It doesn't cost you a dime, and it earns Beth Israel needed funds. Acme and Pathmark allow BI to purchase gift certificates at a discount against their face value; Genuardi's donates if you register for the E-Script Program. Each time you purchase groceries with these gift certificates, Beth Israel earns a percentage of the total bill. And if you save your register receipts from Acme, BI gets an additional rebate. Genuardi’s uses a convenient credit card instead of paper gift certificates, and the register receipt rebate is automatically credited to BI. Call Lynn K. or Helen S. for coupons...and bring your Acme register receipts to Beth Israel--collection boxes are in the lobby.
Top of Page Yahrzeit/Plaque List- June Oneg List Check out our new By-Laws which were adopted at the Membership Meeting May 2005. Shabbat Morning Ushers Needed: Ushers/greeters are needed on Shabbat mornings, especially when we have a simcha such as a B'nai Mitzvah. Guests and new or prospective members many not know where our kippot and tallitot are located. They may not know to bring a prayerbook and chumash into the sanctuary with them. They may not know where the bathrooms are located. This is where you can be of great help. Please let Laura Lee B. know if and when you can help out--even if just for one or two Saturdays. |
